Hurricane Milton & Rescheduled Court Appearances

The Clay County Courthouse and all Clerk’s Office locations are closed on Friday, October 11, 2024. Rescheduled court appearances are as follows:

  • Judge Forbess:  Criminal court for Thursday October 10th is moved to Monday October 14th at 9:00am & Criminal zoom court for Friday October 11th is moved to Friday October 18th from 9:00-9:15am
  • Judge Whittington: The Felony calendar for Monday October 14th is moved to Wednesday October 16th, covered by Judge Forbess
  • Judge Kallaher: Both trials scheduled for this week have been cancelled.
  • Judge Mobley: Small Claims court for Wednesday October 10th is rescheduled to Thursday, November 7th at 9:00am
  • Judge Cox: Injunction hearings for Wednesday October 9th are rescheduled to Wednesday, October 16th at 8:30am

Statewide Case Access for Florida Bar Attorneys Announced

Great news!  The Florida Courts E-Filing Authority, in partnership with Florida Court Clerks & Comptrollers, just launched an optional subscription service called CaseAccess.  Available through the E-Filing Portal, legal professionals can search case information from all 67 Florida counties on one platform.  To subscribe, attorneys should visit the Florida Courts E-Filing Authority homepage and select the “Enter the Portal” button. Sign in to your active E-Filing Portal account, then select CaseAccess Subscription from the command ribbon to manage your subscription settings.  If you do not already have an account, you must create one before subscribing.  ***CaseAccess is a research tool and is not the official court record.  Attorneys should continue to consult the appropriate Clerk of Court for the official and most current record, document, or case status.
