E-Certify

Tamper-proof electronic certified documents with unique Clerk of Court digital signature

For your convenience, the Clay County Clerk of Court and Comptroller is now offering Electronic Certified Court and Official Record Documents for purchase here, on the Clerk’s website.

Each electronic certified document uses advanced encryption features to produce a tamper-proof electronic certified document that will include a unique Clerk of Court digital signature.

In order to purchase an Electronic Certified Court or Official Record Document through this website, the document must be in a viewable electronic format.  If the case and/or document is not available for viewing on the website, certified copies of these documents can still be obtained by visiting the Clerk’s Office in person.

Example Reference Number

There are three ways to verify the authenticity of a document. The first, and easiest way, is to scan the QR code printed on your document. If you do not have a QR code scanner, you may enter the Unique Reference Number for your document or upload the document below. Please watch the video above for detailed instructions.
