Our Comptroller Office personnel ensure that all county financial assets are safeguarded against unauthorized use or disposition and that all transactions are properly recorded to permit the preparation of financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. This office is sometimes also referred to as the County Finance Office. Our review includes confirmation of supporting documentation that justifies expenditures, which must serve a legitimate public purpose. These personnel are proud to serve the citizens of Clay County and to be part of the Clay County Clerk of Court and Comptroller’s office.
The Comptroller Office is part of the Division of Comptroller and Clerk to the Board, reporting directly to Clerk of Court and Comptroller Tara S. Green. These county finance oriented personnel are supervised by Finance Officer Amy Bramlitt.
