Helpful Info for Parents Impacted by the Federal Gov't Shutdown

Parents impacted by the federal government shutdown may find the following resources helpful:

  • Resources for Parents webpage provides employment and community resources.
  • Florida Department of Revenue has agreements in place to refer parents who owe support to employment programs in 59 counties.

The Child Support public webpage now offers parents impacted by the federal government shutdown who owe support to send an email (ZEMI activity). Team members assisting these parents can consider placing CRS and bank levy overrides using “reason 03 – Other” until wage withholding resumes. ​
